Our correspondent went to what may be the cheapest beach in Lagos at just N500. Lighthouse beach is situated within the Tarkwa Bay community but distinct from Tarkwa Bay beach. However, N500 is only the cost the entry. You have to hop on a boat to access Lighthouse beach. The boat trip costs about N3,000 per head. And after gaining access, you may need to buy a seat for N2,000. A cabana can cost up to N20,000, but feel free to negotiate.
