President Bola Tinubu has backed the removal of Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, securing a soft landing for him through resignation instead of outright removal, ThisDay Newspaper reported. After meetings with APC leaders, including Bisi Akande, Olusegun Osoba, and Dele Alake, Tinubu acknowledged that Obasa had lost the support of his colleagues, with 37 out of 39 lawmakers opposing him.
