Sanwo-Olu visits China to boost Lagos infrastructure devt
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has travelled to China to discuss trade and investment opportunities with the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) and the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC).
The governor's visit is aimed at boosting infrastructure development in Lagos, particularly in the areas of transportation.
A statement from the State House on Wednesday confirmed that Mr. Sanwo-Olu would hold meetings with top officials of CCECC and CRRC to explore potential partnerships for the construction of the Red and Blue Lines of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit system.
“There would also be Technical Discussion on the DMUs for Red Line and more Electric Multiple Unit (EMU)s for Blue Line between LAMATA , CCECC and CRRC Dalian,’’ the statement reads in part.
