Red Line: We’ve added more trains for improved rail operations - Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that additional trains rolling stocks have been secured for the Blue Line and Red Line rail operations.

Sanwo-Olu disclosed this in a statement via his official X account on Thursday, noting that the decision came after a research by the team into the requirements for a mega city like Lagos.

The governor further reiterated his commitment to completing the second phase of the Blue Line rail project and also initiating the commercial operations of the Red Line rail project following a recent meeting with the President and management of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in Beijing, China.
