Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday joined fathers across the world to celebrate Father's Day.

Via his X page, Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that fatherhood for him "is about responsibility, love, and sometimes, a call to kitchen duties."

Sanwo-Olu also stated that fatherhood demands sacrifice, patience, and dedication to achieving excellence within the family space.

He went on to state that as a father and leader, he strives to nurture and provide for members of his family to ensure the home thrives.

The governor who in his tweet shared photos of himself handling kitchen utensils said he serves the state with the same dedication he brings to his family.

He added: "The love and principles we uphold in our families guide me daily as your governor. Together, we build a stronger, more caring community."
