Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge project will be completed in 2024 - Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised that the Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge project will be completed in the second quarter of 2024.

Sanwo-Olu disclosed this via his official X account, expressing that the bridge comes with pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes, and more, ensuring safe and convenient travel for everyone. 

“This project aligns with our commitment to improve transportation and manage traffic effectively. The bridge will provide alternate routes, easing congestion on key roads. 

“We're proud of the progress made by Messrs Julius Berger. Their dedication to excellence is evident in the work being done. 

“Witnessing the positive impact on Ikeja, it's clear that the Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge will enhance lives and foster economic growth in Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu wrote.
