Mushin LCDA helps to rehabilitate building in General Hospital
The renovated space will now house an eye clinic, physiotherapy unit, X-ray and scan facilities, and surgery suites, enhancing the hospital’s service range.
In a significant boost for healthcare in Mushin, the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, commissioned the newly rehabilitated Block "D" building at Mushin General Hospital.
The renovated facility, aimed at expanding critical healthcare services for residents, marks a milestone in the hospital’s development and offers a renewed, welcoming environment for both patients and medical staff.
The rehabilitation project, initiated by Mushin General Hospital’s Medical Director and CEO, Dr. Oluyemi Taiwo, sought the council’s support shortly after her appointment in July 2024. Following an on-site assessment by Chairman Ajala and his team, the decision was made to undertake a complete overhaul of the deteriorated Block "D."
