LASEPA to host workshop on noise pollution

The state’s environmental protection agency, LASEPA, has announced a stakeholders’ workshop themed “Curbing Noise Pollution in a Megacity like Lagos”.

Why it matters: Noise pollution is a perennial problem in Lagos and as the agency responsible for such issues, LASEPA is perpetually in the news for shutting down businesses, religious sites and entertainment venues that violate state rules.

Go deeper: The workshop, which is scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, will bring together stakeholders from the religious, hospitality, and entertainment sectors to explore sustainable noise control solutions.
