Lagos State Gov Storms Badagry, Makes Crucial Promises (photos)
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday, April 11, paid a visit to Badagry local government area in Lagos and reiterated some of his campaign promises to the LGA as well as to the state in general.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Governor Sanwo-Olu disclosed that he visited the restored sites like the Slave Market Museum International Vlekete and the Badagry Heritage Museum.
According to the governor, these sites tell powerful stories of our past, and his government is dedicated to preserving and enhancing them for future generations.
The governor said his administration is committed to showcasing Badagry not just as a key part of Lagos' history but as a beacon of tourism in Nigeria.
He went on to state that the government is improving infrastructure like roads and public facilities to make Badagry accessible and welcoming for all tourists.
