Lagos announces plans for Obalende underbridge after Ikeja Record report

Commissioner Wahab said the underbridge space will be handed over to a private sector partner for redevelopment and long-term maintenance under a Corporate Social Responsibility arrangement.

The Lagos State Government has announced plans to redesign the underbridge and motor park area beneath the Obalende bridge, following renewed public attention on the condition of the McGregor channel.

As part of our ongoing #CleanUpLagos series, Ikeja Record recently returned to the McGregor Channel beneath the Obalende Bridge to assess the current state of the canal
