Governor Sanwo-Olu hails Appeal Court's judgement on election

The Governor said the ruling in his favour validated the position of Lagosians who freely cast their ballots to return him as Governor and Doctor Obafemi Hamzat as deputy.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has praised the decision of the Appeal's Court  judgement which affirmed his victory in the last governorship election.

The Governor said the ruling in his  favour validated the position of Lagosians who freely cast their ballots to return him as Governor and Doctor Obafemi Hamzat as deputy.

He said they did not take judicial pronouncements for granted, like those of the Lagos State Elections Petition Tribunal, as it had buoyed his confidence in the country’s judicial system.

 He urged opponents to embrace the olive branch and join their sure march to the Greater Lagos that keeps rising by the day.
