As the second term of the 2023/2024 academic year kicks off, school proprietors in Lagos State have urged parents to actively engage in monitoring their children's academic performance. 

In conversations with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, Mrs. Gloria Chukwuma-Okoh, the Proprietress of Gap Fillers Academy, Agboju, stressed the necessity for parents to invest time in overseeing their children's academic activities.

She noted that many students, particularly in primary and secondary schools, sometimes display indifference towards their studies, necessitating supervision both at school and at home.
