During a visit to the area, The Record observed at least two other dumpsites in different locations near the hospital.
A hospital staff member who craved anonymity told The Record that the stench becomes unbearable, especially during the rainy season.
A resident who has lived in the area for years and also asked not to be identified, expressed skepticism about any government intervention.
The resident said the dumpsite has been there for a long time with no signs of relocation.
