Dosunmu: "I Am Disappointed", Sanwo-Olu Makes Painful Discoveries At Fire Scene (photos)

During his visit to the fire scene at Dosunmu Market on Lagos Island on Thursday, April 11, Governor Sanwo-Olu made some critical discoveries.

According to Governor Sanwo-Olu, the fire outbreak was as a result of mishandling flammable materials.

Noting that the inferno led to significant losses, the governor stated that his administration has initiated a full investigation to determine the cause and implement stricter safety protocols.

The governor particularly disclosed that he was disappointed with the conversion of residential buildings into storage for hazardous materials.

He said that this practice contributed to the rapid spread of the fire and must end. He said the state will hold accountable those who flout our building and safety standards.
