The British High Commission has installed a replica of the iconic London phone booth at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2) as part of its ‘JollofandTea’ campaign.

The Commission’s Head of Communications, Ms. Aseosa Uwagboe encouraged residents to find these booths and tag JollofandTea on social media.

“We really want people to enjoy and have a feel of the booth when they come across one, and if you have a look, you will see some of the iconic transport mediums in Lagos or Nigeria.

“Specifically, we have the Third Mainland Bridge, the underground as well, just to show the different connections between our countries,” Uwagboe said.

The campaign celebrates UK-Nigeria cultural ties in art, fashion, and transport, Nairametrics reported.

The campaign, launched on November 4 by Deputy High Commissioner Jonny Baxter, will feature similar booths across Lagos and Abuja.
