Bad job: Contractor, research institute, Faleke, called out for poor road project in Ikeja

Tracka called on the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology Zaira, the implementing agency, “to provide the public with details of this project and call the contractor back to site to correct the shoddy job done.”

Tracka, a citizen-led public accountability initiative, has called out Joshuel Global Ventures Limited, the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology, Zaira, and member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Faleke, for the shoddy construction of Moshesa Road, Onilekere, Ikeja.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tracka said N205 million has been channeled to the project from September to December 2023, noting that the job “was poorly done.”

Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke, was listed as facilitator of the road project.

According to Tracka, “From Sep to Dec 2023, a total of N205.3 was paid to Joshuel Global Ventures Ltd for the Construction of Moshesa Road, Onilekere, Ikeja LGA Lagos state.

“We tracked and report that this project was poorly has been done. The Moshesa road has been constructed but the asphalting was not properly done. Nine new streetlights were also installed along the road."
