The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday said Africa is no longer content with seeking inclusion but positioning itself as an equal partner on the world stage.

"At the 36th annual session of the Crans Montana Forum in Belgium today, I delivered a speech elaborating on the practical contributions Nigeria is making to shape the narrative of Africa," the Governor said in a statement via his X account.
"Throughout history, Africa has been burdened with a false depiction that does not align with our reality. We have been unfairly labeled as a global liability, a misconception that needs to be corrected through highlighting our true essence and value to the world.
